What is a mini-session?
A mini session is a bit shorter than my regular sessions. We book multiple in one location & each family chooses a time slot to be photographed.
Are these sessions only for families or can I use it for my engagement/maternity/etc.?
You can get a mini session for anything you want! Keep in mind the time limit and location limitations so depending on what you want, you may want to book a longer session. Mini sessions are perfect for christmas/holiday cards, save the date announcements, etc.
How many people are allowed to be part of one session?
I allow a max of 5 individuals for each session - that isn't to say we don't love big families, but mini sessions are suitable for extended families because of the time restraint.
When should I arrive?
I will be starting all our sessions on time. Because sessions are booked back to back, it is important that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your session. Any family arriving more than 5 minutes later will have their choice of receiving a shorter session or moving their session to the next available time slot. If there are no available time slots, your session fee can be used toward a regular session with The Great Romance Photo at a later date at regular (non-discounted) pricing.
Do I need to pay the full session fee upfront? What is your cancellation policy?
Yes - my mini session availability is extremely limited and when people decide last minute to cancel, it makes it difficult to fill that spot. A full-refund will only be provided to any sessions canceled at least 10 days before your session date. Any cancellations after will have their fee credited towards another photo session with The Great Romance Photo at a later date at regular (non-discounted) pricing.
If mini sessions are canceled due to weather or illness (on our part), a full refund will be issued.
Will I receive all the image files?
Absolutely! You will receive a gallery of your images & a pin to download the hi-res images directly from your gallery. Print credit can only be used within 30 days of receiving your gallery & galleries will be up for 60 days.
What if the dates don't work for us?
If our fall mini session dates/times don't work for you, you can inquire about a regular session with us!

Please keep in mind that depending on what time your slot is, your photos will look different! If you have a middle of the day session it will be much brighter and less soft than a session during golden hour or early morning. I can't make any guarantees as to how the weather/lighting will be that day.
